Most of what you described about Loekin was normal puppy behavior. He may have been a little more aggressive than most puppies but you already know some of the reasons why that was a high possibility. Puppies are definitely not for everyone. They seem so cute and innocent until you have them in your house for a few days, and then you learn otherwise

He knows all sorta of things!
-I can tell him "stay!" and he will stay wherever he is
-I can tell him "come!" and he will come to me
-I can tell him "get in your crate" and he will run and sit in his crate and the cool thing is, he will NOT get out of his carte until I come over to it and shut the door or tell him to come out.
-He knows a few commands like sit, lay, ect.
-He is GREAT on the leash, he doesnt pull at all, he walks RIGHT next to me with the leash loose
-He goes to the door and sits and waits if hee needs to go out to potty
-And he doesnt bark!!!!

He is like...perfect!!!

You are lucky he already knows most of his basic commands. That will make it easier, and you can also teach him some new stuff too. Dogs enjoy learning... at least mine do. (when there are treats involved )
Oliver does good with stay when we are in our house but the second he is outside around distractions he will not listen to me. We are working on it though. Anyways good luck with furthering his knowledge. He sounds like a smart one, but then again all paps are...

I am so glad for you. There are really a lot of people tat dont do well with pups. Secret is, (not so much a secret to those who have been here a while and went through some things with me here before) Im one who prefers an adult over a pup mself. I on the other hand have had no luck at all with the adult dogs because I get the ones that just have been messed up by bad training from past owners. I have found that I can deal with a pup learning better then correcting bad and THEN teaching good. So I am again with pup but its so nice to teach and be the first on things with her it seems to be a relief.
I love having dogs sleep with me too. LOL... Feora sticks to the floor by my bad so I thought I would get Ocean used to sleeping with me and it worked out well. Now though she is in crate training so thats where she is at night.

I am so happy things are working for you. I did agility for fun once and it really helps your bond with your dog. Even if you dont want to compete, just to go and have new stuff to learn together, it really does make you closre. I thought I would throw that out there because his basics seem to already be done for you. So this would be something new to both of you. Dogs are allways happy when they get to learn more stuff.
It is nice to enjoy your dog isnt it... I am so happy for you that you get to have that!

That's what I do with Blaze. we take a few classes (he is only on his 3rd level, and there is 5 or 6). Just for fun, at almost 7 he wouldn't beable to compete for very long if we were actually trying to get to competing level. its just a lot of fun for me and him. We are going to start Rally-o for fun in April. and he does a fun agility/nursing home class 2 times a month as well. its fun to get out and bond with your dog. I storngly suggest it MV.

Paps do great at agility I hear.
