I'm glad things are going so well. That is such a cute picture BTW, and I love the one as your display pic. Jayda sleeps on the bed with me sometimes too, but Oliver actually enjoys sleeping in his crate. Sometimes when I stay up late and he gets tired he goes in there on his own and goes to sleep. He likes having his own spot I think, and everytime I have tried putting him on the bed with me... he ends up jumping down and sleeping on the floor or going back to his crate instead.

Dogs are definitely enjoyable! Although all of them can have their "bad" moments. All their good loving moments make up for all the bad though. At least for me

wow, thats exactly what Rinzzo did last night!!! I was up kinda late and he went and got into his crate and fell asleep. I was calling him and couldnt find him! I got scared and then found him fast asleep in his crate! haha it was cute. So I woke him and he got in bed with me and fell asleep on Michaels pillow lol It was SOOOO nice having somone in the bed with me. I could NEVER have let loekin in the bed with me. NO WAY! He would have attacked me, ate the pillows, blankets, and bed and then peed and poop all over it.
I could never cuddle lokein or hold him without him trying to rip my arm or face off, and he ALWAYS barked and growled at me. I couldnt even sit on the floor without him hurting me. It was like a living hell with him.

I just never knew what it felt like to have a "normal" dog that I can hold and instead of him biting my face, hed lick it. Or lay on the bed and have him curel up on my tummy and just love me.

Its a wonderful and amazing feeling that I never have felt before. I love it

Well I definitely LOVE all these goofy moments like failed training things, crazy puppy energy and all that stuff!

Well I'm glad you have a little buddy to spend time with now

Loekin probably just wasn't the right dog for you. Although he may not have been as "mean" as you thought. It sounds to me like he just wanted to play but got carried away because he didn't know any better. I think it's a good thing you got a teenage dog this time around as they can hold their bladder longer and luckily it sounds like he has had some previous training with his old owner. Also small dogs are a lot easier to handle IMO.
