Have fun on your walk. It's icky out here... it's been constant rain/snow the past couple days. I just want to go home and have some hot chocolate. My work is pretty much dead right now anyways so I'm not even doing anything.

I know how you feel about your husband being away , it was soooo hard when my BF went on business for 9 mos. We rarely got to talk and it was horrible. But I am sure he is going to love your new dog

He really sounds like a sweet dog already

Our dogs are trained to stay in a dog seat, neither roam the car. Both of them took to it instantly. We gave the one that Chloe grew out of to a co-worker, her pug LOVES his seat we gave them.

This is similar to the seats we have:
Dog Car Seat: Lookout II Booster Seat at Drs. Foster & Smith
Snoozer Large Lookout Pet Car Seat- All Other Fabrics - Snoozer Pet Car Seats - Dog Car Seats
PG11 - X - Booster Pet Car Seat in Charcoal Pet Gear

oh, i am so happy for you and your new pup! this seems such a better match all around, i'm sure your hubby will understand when you finally get a chance to explain...

definitely a good idea to use a kennel or some sort of safety restraint in the car... i got into a fender bender @ 25mph and everything from my back seat flew into the front and smacked all around the car, a little guy like that could be injured sooo easily...

anyway... congrats! really really happy for you
