I just couldnt leave without him, he was great at her place, he was bringing me toys and rolling over in my lap for belly rubs! He is so well behaved too!

He did good in the car, sat on my lap..idk but I think thats a big no no...
anyways, when we got home he pottied outside for me then came in and ran all over the place smelling around and then found me again and since then, he has followed me EVERYWHERE!!! lol its sooo cute! He loves cuddling and playing with his green squeeky stuffed dog toy thing haha...

oh, he is so great..and best of all - HE DOESNT BITE ME!!!!
Paps sure love belly rubs don't they? haha. I use to let Oliver sit in my lap in the car but it's actually dangerous for the dog and if they accidently decide to jump up and get you in a car accident. I now put Oliver in the back seat, I haven't had any luck finding him a safe seatbelt or restraint. Are you going to keep his name or re-name him?

looks like the stars lined up. I'd be hard pressed to pass up a free pap myself.:P

Glad you like him, I think he will be a much better fit for you. Every pap owner I have talked to really adore their dogs.

Oh and by the way, about the car thing (please remember this is a forum of all views and not fight) When I had a small dog, I allways let them sit in my lap while driving. I personally loved it and felt safer that way. Of course this is before they had doggie seatbelts and things like that but if they were right there and I stoped quickly I could put a hand on them rather then them slideing off the seat annd on the floor. Of course we all know big dogs cant do it so I feel mean when Ocean wants in my lap and I have to scoot her back to her own seat. Its cute now but not when she is huge. Shes great dane/golden mix and really seems to be growing those long legs.
Anyway, some things just depend on what that person feels compfy with.

I do have to say that the other day I saw a st. Bernard hanging out the drivers window while owner driving. How crazy is that!! I picked another road to drive on because thats about an accident waiting to happen!!

It definitely could be a dangerous situation. Whether she continues to do this or not is up to her, but I definitely wouldn't encourage it. There are many things that could go wrong and it can all happen so fast while driving.

Hey guys, everything is going GREAT with him, he is so wonderful. He walked and sat down at the door and whined, wanting me to take him out to go potty! He hasnt marked or went pee/poop inside!! And he just LOOOVES being in my lap!

The only thing now is to tell me hubby lol and I have NO way of actually talking to him at all until mid April so, I guess I will write to him and tell him what happened with Loekin and inform him he has a new dog waiting at home for him Ill throw in a few pics of him too!

I'm glad he's feeling "right at home" already, and he has good potty training. That is always a plus

I would go crazy without being able to talk to my Boyfriend for that long, but at least you can write letters.

You cant talk to him over the net? My friend keeps her lap top on because sometimes he can get on the computer for a bit. They can see each other and talk till he has to walk away. But then he is a sargent too. Maybe that makes the diff. That is hard though, I think your new one will help you not be so lonely..
