Omggggg!!!!! Papillon!!

GUYS GUYS GUYS OMG!!!!! GUYS!!! READ!!!

ok, *feww* calm down Rachel.

So, I was talking to my motherinlaw about me wanting to find a new dog right, and before I could even tell her what breeds I was interested in (boston terrier or papillon) she goes "My best friend has a dog she is trying to find a home for" and I was like "oh really?!" and she goes "Yup, my friend got a new job that she has to drive 2 hours to get to and she has to leave extra early and gets home extra late so shed be gone from 4am to 8pm and doesnt have time for him" and I go "oh well, what breed?" (when I asked, actually wasnt real interested in knowing as I was set on a boston terrier or papillon only as I have been reading up a lot on those two breeds) anyways she comes back with "Its a small dog called a Papy-in, or somthing like that..." I snap back with "PAPILLON?!?!?!!!!" and she goes "YEAH! Thats it!! Papillon!"..........I was speechless! I asked "So do you know anything about it?" she said "no, but hers her number 540 ###-####, call her she can tell you everything" I said "thanks!" and hung up.

By then I was shaking I was so excited to here about him or her!

I called her and this is what I found out

Name: Rinzzo
Age: 11 months
Birth day: March 22, 09
Sex: Boy
Color: Red and white
Health: Healthy! Has a small healed hernia form when he was a baby but its completely now, just has a small buldge the size of a pee where it had healed like that
Neutered: no
Potty trained: YES!
Crate trained: Yes
Leash trained: yes
Commands: Sit, come, stay, lay, fetch, crate, no, lets go potty
Weight: Exactly 6 pounds

Ect:
He is not hyper inside but is hyper when he goes outside to play. He loves sitting on your lap and loves to cuddle!!! He doesnt bite at all and barks somtimes when he sees new people. He gets along with dogs and cats GREAT and loves to go on walks! He sleep in the crate without whining or he will sleep in the bed with you. He is crate trained for if you leave the house. He listens well and comes with all his vet records. He does NOT potty in the house and really likes playing outside! He is eating eukanuba dog food.

Price: Free. She was asking for $250 for him but since she is friends with Michaels mom and im her daughterinlaw, she said I can just have him with his crate and all his stuff. but she said she needs him gone to a new home within the next couple of days because she is starting her new job then.

She said I can come meet him if I am interested, but she really needs to know if I want him or not because of the job thing. I REALLY want him but want to make sure im ready! So I decided to read up on papillons ALL night to make sure I got everything down and then I might go tomorrow to meet him...what do you guys think??? Am I rushing things? I dont want to pass him up as he is EXACTLY what I am looking for..and I have been reding up on them..oh, what do you guys think?!

Here is a pic of him she sent me, this is the only one I got, if I go tomorrow
ill try and take some while im there if I can.

Is he cute?!

He is absolutely adorable. Only you will know if you are ready. I say if you feel confident that you are ready for another dog RIGHT NOW than go for it. The circumstances are actually quite nice in the fact that he needs a new home, and you are looking for a Papillon. I definitely would go and meet him at the least. He is still fairly young and it's fine that he hasn't been neutered yet. I'm waiting until Oliver is at least a year to get him snipped. You want to make sure he doesn't go around any females in heat though until you can get the surgery, otherwise not a big deal. The only thing I would maybe worry about is Oliver is fully potty trained... in my house. Unfortunately if I take him to the store or over to my moms house he will mark inside for some reason. Be ready for him possibly marking in your house a few times before he gets fully potty trained living with you. This may not be an issue... just a possibility. He is still young and may still have some puppy chewing tendencies but he should definitely be easier to handle than a baby.

Just remember once you bring a Papillon into your house you won't ever be able to live without one. If it weren't for me wanting to rescue a dog from a shelter this time around I prob would have gotten another pap. Although I love Jayda too and no regrets.... just saying they are great little dogs, oh and I should add male pets have always been my favorite for some reason

Well, I would definitely be really interested, but would want to meet him first before I decided 100% ... you can only tell so much from a photo but I have never met a Pap I didn't like so chances are I would be bringing him home. haha.

I noticed he doesn't have a lot of fur for a 11 month papillon. Is that possibly a photo from a few months ago? Not all paps have as much fur as others but I would imagine it would be a bit longer than that and he should have a little more ear fringe by now, but again it's possible he just doesn't have as much fur as most.

She got him groomed like that a few days before the pic.
She said she got him groomed so he was nice and clean cut for him to go to his new home.

I think he is super cute!!! That pic she took yesterday or today, I forget
