Oh how I miss having a big dog

So this evening I took Belle out to do her last potty..

After doing the fabulous number 2 she had a bit of it hanging so when I brought her back in I was getting ready to wipe her bum.

Well she's learned that "Towel" means "Bath" which I completely forgot so of course the minute I approached her with a towel, she took off running.

I tried to snag her but of course I missed, and she made a mad dash underneath the bed which, is a king size bed and went just out of my reach!

Annoyed I did the only thing I could think of to fish her out and got the broom to push her out.

she ran out the other side, out the door, then fled to the dang couch and went behind the couch!! UGH!!

So i pulled the couch out just to have her run off again back underneath the bed because mom decided that in that given moment she just HAD to go into her room and left the stinkin' door open!!

About 20 minutes of this madness, and smudged poop on the walls behind the couch, I finally managed to catch her.

AND FOR TICKIN' ME OFF I GAVE HER A DANG BATH!!

That'll show her.

I miss my big dog that can't fit under the bed or behind the couch.

Why not just train the dog to listen to a comman such as stop or come...

I am working on that but like we all know this process doesn't just happen overnight.

I beg to differ on larger dogs not getting under things. This is Betty under the bed during a thunderstorm. She is much bigger than you are use to.

You can train who evers dog you want if you lvie with them IMO. My dog is my dog, but my family has helped train him, so he will listen to him. A dog should listen to every one in the house, be it her mom or dadds dog, or her brothers ect.
