new puppy / newborn baby question

I have a random question. I just got a puppy last week. All of her vaccinations will not be complete until Wednesday.
On Thursday I am supposed to go visit a friend that just had a baby. Is there any chance that I can carry any type of virus/germs to the baby from my puppy?
This might be a stupid question, but I do not want to put the baby in any danger.

Hi and welcome to the dog forum Mariposa371. IMO your friends baby cannot catch anything from your puppy. I'd just make sure that you wash your hands before you handle the baby which you'd probably do anyway to keep the human germs down!
The only thing I'd watch out for is if your friend has a dog and that the dog is current on it's vaccinations. Other then that, I hope you have a great visit with your friend and her new baby!
Also, if you want to post them, we'd love to see some pics of your new puppy!
