sorry if this is in the wrong section...

i got bored today and took some things and made a doggy or kitty bed. i have also gotten bored before and made cat trees.

what do you think?

i used two old baby blankets, stuffing from one of the girls stuffed toys that was falling apart and the princess thing was part of one of their mesh laundry hampers that was going to be thrown away. i think its cute.

I think you did a great job!

I make doggie quilts, very similar to your second pic.
When I have enough of them, I drop them off at the local shelter
and when the dogs are adopted, they bring the blanket to their new home with them.

I have all kinds of people come and drop off bags of old quilting material, flanel sheets, night gowns and housecoats, they leave them on my front deck and run! (geesh, ya chase one person off your property with a rake and all of a sudden, they think you aren't friendly!!) LOL

I live pretty far out in the country too but that doesn't stop people from coming out to leave me their old material.
It makes me feel good to give a little something back and also to use stuff that would otherwise be discarded.
