Any site suggestions?

So I'm a rebel in NaNoWriMo this year (Nation Novel Writing Month) and all the ppl who complete it (the goal is to write 50k words in a month) get a free proof copy of their book. Being a rebel means I'm not actually writing a novel, but I'm writing 50k. I started out writing fiction, but wasn't too inspired.

So now I'm writing a dog book (for my own personal reading). I'm gonna put everything I can think of needing for Tasha. Tricks training, recipes, edible/non edible foods.

Any site suggestions? I don't have time to get a book, the contest ends the 30th of november. I'm behind 49,500k words, but it's fairly easy to catch up when you're writing fact. Not much imagination needed, lol.

Those are mostly animal health, animal welfare issues, and feeding etc.

What other kinds of dog sites are you looking for?

I'd be very wary about what sites you use (that's why I posted those-they are govt run) because well here's an example

Google polar bears and you'll find hundreds of sites saying their fur is fibre optic. BUT it's not. (common myth, and had a professor and chair on canada research counsel explain why it's a myth and that it's not true-he's the world expert on polar bears) So even if something is on many sites doesn't mean its true-though I'm sure you know to beware

At any rate, let us know maybe more specifically what your looking for

I'm looking for anything useful I could rewrite into my book. Kind of like a reference manual to take with me everywhere. I hope to include my treat recipes, a few medical things (like what to do if -fill in the blank- happens to my dog), etc.

Since no-one else is going to read it I may put some of Tasha's medical info/vet visits in it too... I'm not sure though.

Also I'll include a list of safe/not safe foods in there too. This way if we're out and she eats something I'm not sure about. Probably incude emergency phone numbers (like local vets, poison control center, pounds/shelters, etc.).

Soo, anything info you'd like to have with you when you go places basically.
