I got Kobe when he was 7 months old from a family that feared him. Before they got him, he was rescued from an abusive owner. When we met, he was fear aggressive and difficult to handle. It took 2 years to teach him to trust me. That's when I got Cindy, a 3-month-old lab/chow who turned out to be the perfect companion who helped him to learn social skills and how to play. They had a wonderful life together, which was a pleasure to see considering how emotionally pained he was when he came here.
