| What tricks can your dog do?? Hey everyone, so lots of people are suprised when they see 'Coopers' tricks! I'm very proud of my effort with him and he is so easy to teach and he is so happy after he gets whatever it is that im teaching him, so my question is what kind of tricks can your dog do? so far Coopers tricks are, sit, lie down, paw, roll over, kangaroo, and he also rings the doorbell to go outside to toilet (pretty cool huh) |

| We are still working a lot with Kimber. He sit, stay for short periods, drop it, take it, and leave it with most things.
Kelsey can Sit Down Stay Leave It Take It and Roll Over. She can also do a trick where we put a treat on her nose and when we say OKAY! She can toss up in the air and catch it. She also knows go to your bed and go to your room. |

| Well to tell you the truth I am not very into teaching my dogs tricks. I prefer to work all day in agility-kind things and obedience. My main goal is to reach a level where I will be able to walk with more than 4 dogs by my side.
However, Emmy is very into tricks...so what she knows is "up", "bag", roll over, walk, walk on front legs, play dead, shake and "get the horse"
To explain "bag" is not very impressive but it's probably the most hilarious (after the "get the horse"). When I say "bag" I hold a circulated toy and she just jumps and holds on from it until I say "leave it". I did that first time to my mom when I was going out a Saturday night and I had a few things to take with me to give them to friends and she told me to get a bag...so I just said "bag" and click with my fingers and Emmy jumped and grubbed the toy and we walk out the house like that!! It was so funny! (I don't know how it sounds to describe it tho) |

| Kitty:
sit, down, stay, wait, leave it, drop it, spin, cover face, wave, gimme some (high five with both paws), up (onto something), off (of something), bang (play dead), roll over, touch, tunnel, jump (over something), take it (do a-frame or dogwalk).
Riot: sit, down, stay, come, heel, shake, rollover, place, tunnel, jump, take it (again a-frame or dogwalk), jump (over something), weave (through legs)
breezy: sit, down, stay, come, heel by side, heel between legs, heel backwards, back up, spin left, spin right, wipe your paws, wave, roll over, [kind of] say your prayers, place
plus they all know "in your crate" and a couple other things |

| Mikey has graduated obedience (sit, down, heel, finish, come, and come at a distance, leave it) and is training for CGC -which I'm certain he'll pass.
We got him last May-and as far as we were able to test-he didn't know anything-besides being hit and that's another story.
He knows sit, sit pretty, stand, dance, down, bow, look left, look right, target (mouth or paw), settle (not jump), come (several cues-but has total recall at the dog park), shake, high five (now 'whassup'), outside (now 'who let the dogs out'), inside, car ride, bath time, bedtime, speak, and turn on/off the tv. And this is basic just beginning stuff
Mandy-among her many cues-the one's I am very proud of are ; Answer the phone and speak (she knocks the phone over and talks only when she could hear-when it rang-she would wait for it to ring-by cell-and answer it) play guitar and sing (Strums it and sings-she taught herself to sing along-I never added that-you wouldnt believe the story-only those who were there that day would) and play dead (pretty standard)=the big thing we are working on now (keep in mind our limitations-brain cancer, deafness, and arthritis) is desensitizing to Mikey.

| wow those are some really cool tricks!! one thing that cooper wont do is drop it especially when we're playing fetch with the ball, he fetches it and brings it back but wont 'drop it' ive been brining treats with me and telling him drop it obvisiouly when he sees the treart he has to let the ball drop to eat it, so i let him smell that i have a treat and say drop it then when the ball drops i say good boy drop it and then give him the treat, the lab i used to have just dropped it automaticly, cant understand why cooper doesnt just do it aswell, what do think of this treat method? or do u have any other ideas?
oh yea cooper comes when calls and goes to bed or crate when told, he goes out when told and will sit and wait at the front door if i go out side to the car or bin unless i tell him come out then he'll come out and run around.
oh my god Mikey, how did u teach those tricks, the phone is amazing!!
and Brittany ive been trying to teach the treat on the nose for a while but i dont think im doing it right maybe cooper is too hyper for that one.
i love that bang (play dead) trick |

| I have only had Charlie now for a few weeks but in that time he has learned sit, fetch, and sit up (beg). We have been working on down but he just does not like it. Oh he also now understands when I say do you want to go outside and he will run to the door and sit for me to put his collar on. |

| I'm not big on "tricks'
So Blaze only knows. Every day commands
-Sit.
-Wait. (stop and wait for me to catch up)
-Stay (sit/down and stay for as long as I say. He can do it for atleast 25 mins. As we have done it at a show before. "the ultimate stay of" lol They had to cancel it due to the last 8(including Blaze) dogs out of 100+ wouldn't move.)
-Back.(get behind me)
-Come.
-down (lay down.)
-here (by my side)
-Go to bed. (goes to his bed)
-Bring it (and brings what ever I point too)
-Fetch (bring ball/toy back. He does it better then most retrievers at the dog park lol)
-Get down.
-Speak.
-Paw.
-Shake (shakes his whole body. works wonderful for bathing him.)
-Run
-Get'em (go get his friends)
-A head (run ahead)
-"OK" (release him from a sit, down, back, ectectect.) Agility commands. (so far. List will keep adding while we do more classes)
-Over (jump a agility jump/tree log/some ones legs ect)
-Tunnel.
-Tire.
-weave.
-target.(touch target on the ground)
-touch (touch my hand with his nose)
-frame (A frame)
-walk (dog walk)
I think that's all. But I could be wrong |
