lol, i think i do sorta take his genius for granted, of course he is dragging this out so he can get more goodies! lol, just realized that i am using food to lure him onto the treadmill for exercise... think that is a bit contradictory? wonder if it would work for me...

ok, so we are really close to getting this now! i think i'm going to have a couple of videos, one of the training process, then i'll work on one of the final product... hard to predict when we will get to it, but now all he really needs to do is learn to use his back feet more, then duration... the really cute thing is that he is running over to the treadmill when he wants attention... he really likes that thing!

ok, so here is the video finally... sorry, it is so long, but i was trying to cram just over 2 weeks of training sessions into one video, and i wanted to show the whole process...

at first you can see that fawkes is more interested than clover, we started small, just clicking him for looking at it, then slowly for getting on it, that took about a week. getting him to walk on it took about another week, and we still aren't done, tho i think now we just need to focus on duration.

it is harder to tell in the video, but toward the end, he was/is starting to move his hind legs more deliberately... which helps him to stay on it...

lol, there is one scene where i was training him and he just took off! what a brat!

anyway, here it is, thanks for watching

lol, i know! it cracks me up too! oh man, i wish that i had gotten some more video of the funny stuff he did so i could make a bloopers video... there were many times when he would throw himself into a down on it desperately trying to stay one without the belt moving, and when i was trying to get him to move the belt, before he had his "ah ha" he started offering other things on it and would slide off, a few times he tried to roll over, right off of it!

anyway... thank you, and your bf...
