We would also like you to note that whapping a dog with a newspaper for unwanted behavior and/or rubbing the dogs nose in his excrement to house train are outdated methods that should never ever be used.

If your dog has bit someone, especially if he has bit someone and drawn blood-the internet is not where you should be. It is the responsibility of the dog owner to prevent bites from happening and should your dog bite someone else you could be held civilly($) and criminally(jail) responsible, and your dog may be euthanized. It is for the legality surrounding dog bites and the seriousness of them that we will not provide advice once your dog has bitten someone-even yourself. Home interventions may have worked before the bite, but it is the general consensus that you find a professional trainer and/or behaviorist to help you solve the problem-BEFORE someone gets seriously hurt. You can speak to your vet for suggestions on trainers in your area, AND you may post here for help finding a behaviorist or trainer-but not for training advice after your dog has bitten someone.
