Actually I noticed Rocco moving around the sitting room and the kitchen this morning, so I assume he's getting a little bit more comfortable.

I am glad you like it, I have worked in kennels where the frightened dogs just needed someone patient and calm, did the treat thing and built a relationship with a few dogs who never warmed up to anyone else.
Glad to hear its getting better, I asked where you got him b/c (what it sounds like to me) he has been thrown around from home to home and is just waiting for the next move to a new family. Hopefully the little fella will please your family to give him a great home
