is there a way for me to train them basic tricks at the same time...it will be both their firs time even the mini schnauzer... is it possible to do this?or it will be a disadvantage to one of them? thanks... |

| Hi and welcome to the forum!!
Photos are a must
I think it is possible to teach them tricks at the same time...but I believe it is better to start one by one. |

| you need to train them separately. Whether that be one dog is put away, or one is in a down stay while you work with the other.
once they have learned the commands...you can certainly train them together. But they need to learn them in a place without distractions...and another dog is the ultimate distraction. |

| I agree they should be taught separately first. It gives them time to bond with you and be away from the other |

| hi! welcome to the forum...
i also agree, it is best if you do training exercises separate... it is also good for them to learn to be comfortable apart from one another... |

| Hi!
I also agree with everyone else. Once you have trained one of them, teaching the other one might be easier as you could use the trained one to show him how its done! |

| Welcome!
I also agree with the others...later you can sometimes train with both together but that needs special or more training in the first time. For example: Sometimes I train with my dog and the dog of my parents together but first they had to learn that I only mean this dog which I'm looking at. But I think it's better to train with one dog only...it's much easier. |
