Collar Help

I wasnt sure where to post it so sorry if its in the wrong thread. I am going to start collar training my puppy but honestly im not sure if i want to go out andbuy a collar and keep buying themas she gets older or maybe try to think of something i could use in place as one till she is bigger. I know some people who used dog scarfs or ribbons so they got used to having something around their neck. then when they got older they bought collars. they took them off at night. what has everyone else done? i know this might seem silly but i have always wondered about it. I am most likely going to wait till my pup is 8 weeks to start just was wondering before then so i have some ideas.

You can generally buy two collars from puppy to adult-as they are adjustable. You could buy one now that fits on the smallest setting and once you get to the biggest, trade up for one that again fits on the smallest setting.

I'm talking about the adjsutable nylon collars.

You could do the same thing with a martingale collar (it's similar to a choke collar which is really adjustable but is nicer)
