Ok I have not really posted my full thoughts on Cesar but I will. I do not think this is animal abuse....this dog was biting him....have you EVER had a dog on a leash and turn on your like that? The second the dog calmed down he laid the dog on its side and loosened the leash.... I personally think that with dogs who have such high extremes such as the husky dominance over the dog is necessary.... I do think there are other ways to try but everybody is different... just like some people take their dogs to the dog park, others do not...its your decision. I use some of Cesars methods on my lab/collie mix because he has a very high threshold and sometimes being dominant over him and putting him on his back is the ONLY way to get him to settle down. The dog was biting Cesar and he was simply protecting himself and trying to protect the dog as well. I have heard many opinions on how he puts this dogs into a position where they are overwhelmed and frightened and I think many of the dogs he has worked with have shown nothing but POSITIVE changes.

IMO not even close to abuse! Tightening the leash on a dog which is biting you is abuse? - good lord I was expecting him to sweep the legs during one of the dogs leaps!

Neah, not abuse at all, he handled it very well imo, very calmly, other people would be kicking the dogs in the nutsack by now.

That is exactly what I was expecting. Did you see his arm after the ordeal? It is not easy to stay that calm when a crazy dog is biting you.

I must agree with most of you. I cannot consider this abuse. There is a point at which some force may have to be used and from what was presented to us in this video, I would probably have done the same thing.

this has been posted on every forum and I've yet to get a link that works for me (tried three dif computers now)

anyone have a link to the video on another source..I'd love to analyze this myself.
