dehydrators vary. mine was 60 bucks. i make all my own dog treats with it.

Oooh, maybe I'll get a dehydrator. That sounds so much cheaper/healthier than store-bought treats.

Guys, I have a question for you, since I have to order it online and cannot find it in local shops: do you you think that a standard size kong would be ok for a pitlab or should I go for the larger black one? thanks

The black one is the way to go...my pit was able to begin to disassemble the red ones...

you don't want the super big one...the $25 one...you probably want the next size down.

here they sell 2 sizes in Red and one called "Extreme" in black. I ordered the Large red as a start...I am not sure with these so called "indestructible" toys: the last ball was guaranteed as such and Atus chewed in 2 weeks ...

I put dry dog food in Buddy's. Mostly Dog food pellets or peanut butter.

Lowfat peanut butter
Wet food
Dry food
Chicken
Treats

Anything can go in there really, But I try to make it more difficult by sticking things at the very bottom rather than letting them just fall out.

Another good idea is the stuffable bones. I have about 3 of them for my 2 Lab Boxer mixes. I can fit a 2 handfuls of dry food in there along with wet food to make it harder. These are great because unlike Kongs, they are pretty much indestructible. I have had them for a year now and not a dent! You can get them at any pet store. They are shank bones, but there are some made much bigger
