Freeze stuff in there You could mush up some stuff in a blender-like carrots and fish (I've cooked those into cookies-Mikey did not mine salmon carrot pairing ) and pour it in (maybe block the little whole on the other side of the kong with a peice of cheese so it doesn't pour out the other end) and freeze it

Or big cookies-Mikey's having a hard time working dog biscuits out of the kong-he worked well into the night on it

I always freeze them. I put little bits of kibble in the yogurt one too. I think I will try a bigger treat like you said so it is stuck in there a little.

Maybe buy a smaller one-so they can't get stuff out so easy Once they figure out how they work they probably get good at it

I have. Only like a minute max though. And one night, (we had drinks) I didn't wrap the Kong in a paper towel, just threw the egg in there and popped it in the microwave and I ended up with busted egg all over the place.

I use dog biscuits but Ruby gets them out really fast by squishing the Kong and breaking them. It took her a while to get the chewies that they sell for Kongs out though.

Totally. I won't waste money again on the Kong squeeze stuff either. I bought a tube for $8, and Cannon's tummy didn't like it at all. When I checked out the ingredients list, it was no wonder! Instead, I bought liverwurst since it's pasty. At least if I'm feeding him something unhealthy, it won't be ridiculously overpriced. I just feed him a tiny bit in the Kong Dental Stick (Amazon.com: KONG Dental Stick Dog Toy, Medium, Red: Home & Garden), and he'll spend an hour trying to lick/chew it out of a few crevices. I sectioned it out and froze it since he doesn't eat much of it.

i dont use kongs anymore because she ripped a black kong to shreds. BUT i kind of co-opted the idea. i bought some soup bones(weight bearing leg bones) and i stuff them with ground raw meat that ive run through the food dehydrator.

Ahahhaha yup the black are the strongest-can't do much better then those. Good idea on the bones though! What does a food dehyrdater cost? I was thinking about one-it would be great for my bunnies too (Don't get any ideas lol -dehyrdrated fruit for the bunnies-not for the bunnies LAMO )
