I use the crib mattress too, but eventually the liner ripped. I found a good "portable" remedy for any place a leaking dog lies is a cheap plastic felt-backed tablecloth. I usually cut it in half, put an easily washable sheet or fleece or whatever over it to make it comfortable and help tuck it around whatever bed it is on and it is 100% waterproof. Can be wiped off or washed as needed and replaced at minimal expense. I have even used them on top of our own bed when the old leaking dog just had to sleep with us. Kept our blankets, sheets & mattress dry. You gotta do what you gotta do .

SO i picked them up. I'm a dummy. They are 12$ for extra covers -they were 35$ each (would have only ordered one to start had I not been dumb!!)

Sooo

BUT they are great!! The buns LOVE them. Noot and Chuck (my seniors) have been on the pillow a ton.

They are a rubber material and are not resistant-totally water proof... there is a cover she makes (the 12$ thingy) and they are cute. But I thnk I may strip them and use the rubber pillow.

ALSO my GF wants to make them as a hobby and sell them. WE will likely not make money but we both sew and it will be fun-and we will have tons of pillows!!
