Smile OMG Mikey's using a Kong!!

WEE!!!

We had a kong that's shaped like a bone so you can stuff both sides

But he didn't really bother with it

So today I got him an original kong. Out of peanut butter; the store was out of kong stuffing. So I just put a couple cookies in it right now and he's ACTUALLY playing/chewing it!!

OMG he didn't bother at all with the other one-and has never 'worked' to get food!! i'm so proud!!

(MAndy had one, and it rolls funny -like not like a ball-so it was too weird fo her to go near-totally off limits)

I'm so excited!

I was so disappointed when he wouldn't bother..his doggie friends would come over and go strait for the kong to get treats, but he couldn't be bothered.

I stuffed it again before I left for work and he was excitedly going to town YEAH!! Now I need to get some pb for it!

See-and I have a puzzle ball too-full of cookies but he won't bother it...Maybe I need to put stinkier treats in it.

i've started putting clover's "homemade" food in his and freezing it so it takes him longer to get it out, also i mix the kibble w the peanut butter to really fill it up, cream cheese is good to...
and the puzzle ball...i just use his kibble in...i should take a video of him playing with it...it is cute and i think it is a confidence builder too bc he had to figure out how to get to the treats....

Ya know- typical me- I always have the odd ball true story..
Zubin had a Kong and loved it!!! Took it to bed with him you name it. One day in the great room I was mindlessly watching tv when suddenly Zubin jumped to his feet ( he was laying down with it )- shaking his head back and forth and I realized just as fast he had the kong in his mouth. I start walking towards him like " what the heck???..." and " why dont you let go of it...?" when he went to yelp and then it let go... I am totally serious- but the position of his tongue made a suction and he got his tongue like suction on and in the kong!
( LOL- leave it to Zubin right??? )

Zubin is a big baby- no clue something can hurt him. About two years ago ( we were living on the mountain then) we had a trash can in the kitchen with a flip lid. Man I tried everything but short of just put it up when I left, he would check it so I was resigned to just put it in the cabinet if I left the house.
Well one day I was getting out of the shower, got dressed when I heard a hidious noise! I came in to find Zubin crashing around the great room with the lid to can ( it lifted off) stuck around his head.. Do you know he never touched the trash can again.. ROFLMBO!
