Default Kong

Sorry if there is already a thread on kong, now that I think of it I didn't check much.
Anywhooo...
Anyone else have problems with kongs ?
I had one for Sparky when he was just a pup and right before my mom was going to come get me from school he got his whole lower jaw (and teeth!) stuck in the hole.
My mom panicked because she had to come pick me up and he was there screaming. So she tried to pull it off and that just caused more harm so she put him in the car, came to get me. Then we debated the vets when I asked if she tried to cut it off.
Well you know how hard it is to cut a kong ?

I got him a bigger size and he got his tounge stuck in that little hole.

What are your takes on kong/?

i like them too, we gave them to all sorts of animals at the zoo. i did read about a kong type ball that got stuck on a dog's tongue and the tongue had to be amputated. apparently the ball only had one hole so it suctioned on while his mom was at work. pretty sad story.

No problems here so far, we'll see how they last in a few months once his jaw gets stronger.
