There was a ball my parents got for their dogs...it was red and tough and it lit up when it hit the ground... I do not remember what it was called but it withstood 3 very large dogs mouths and chewing with very few puncture wounds on it LOL

My dogs loves squeaky toys. squeaky toys made of rubber is durable and last, but reminder that supervise your dogs and remove the squeaker before he can choke on it. LOL

Our Stella is tough on toys....she tears stuffed animals apart in a matter of hours if we're lucky....

She is very good with the Orbee toys by Planet Dog.....

Dog Toys - Toys for Adult Dogs - Planet Dog

They're bouncy....hard to destroy and smell like mint! She loves her Orbee bone and the Artichoke Orbee.

I actually returned something for the first time in my life-and it was a dog toy; labelled indestructable (I know it's not really) and it lasted twenty minutes-so I returned it. I would think for 30$ and labelled as indestructable my little dog could have at least a few days with a toy!!!

Considering it's such a common complaint-you'd think the manufacturers could step up and make something better!!! *fingers crossed* lol

We have a staffy which can, and does, destroy every toy she has been given. Except for one which was called, from memory, "The best dog toy in the world". We purchased it 3 years ago and it is still in very reasonable condition. Made from hard rubber with points all over it so that it bounces every which way. Sensational toy which we have never seen in a pet store since - Sorry

Oh how I wish I would have done the same so many times!! I get angry when I return home with an "indestructable" toy and it's ruined in seconds!!

Another vote for Kong toys. My border collie finds ways to destroy even those (by ripping off small bits of rubber) but it takes him a couple of weeks of hard chewing to get the rubber to where it will tear.

It's far and away the most durable toy so far.

When he starts chewing on a play toy that is less durable (like the wubbas that headores), I take it away and give him a chew toy (Kong) instead. I want the play toys to last and so don't let him stay with the play toys unsupervised. Chew toys unsupervised are fine (til he gets to the rubber-ripping stage).

Nylabones are also great, too. That said, he gets to where he is ripping bits off the ends of those, too.
