Don't let him play with beanie babie's or stuffed animals filled with those little 'balls'
( You can feel it )
Also..
If you'd rahter not clean up a large mess i'd also take out anything with stuffing and Yarn.

My dog rarely play with her toys. She sleeps at night and most of the day. She is only 3 and she sleeps too much. Everytime I bought her a new toy, she would play with it for a few minutes, then she would hardly play with it again ever. She has a lot of plush toys and Nylabone bones but she wouldn't play with them. She used to like chasing the laser beam but she doesn't care now. She still likes the Kong but only when there is treat in it and I can't be giving her Kong/treats all day long. How can I make her like her toys so she would play with them? I don't want her to sleep so much.

I would suggest Merrick's Texas Toothpicks. I have 2 Yorkies who love this treat. This is not rawhide but smoked ox/cow tails so it's easy in your dog tummy. I was freaked out at first because you can see the tails but I got used to it and it keeps my dogs busy.

I like IQ cube cagey a lot. I like interactive toy. The cube contains 5 different shape of squeaky toy and it is inside the cage.Dog put her nose into cube and get one squeaky toy one by one from the cage.

I think I may try this one. Looks like plenty of chewable extremities lol
Thanks for the advice! Let you know how it works out

We recommend crating your dog while you are out, at least until you establish trust with your dog. However, a kong with maybe a little bit of peanut butter in it is always a nice treat for your dog while you are out. Also, we suggest putting the crate in a room with a television and keeping it on while you are away. This helps dogs feel less lonely.

Hope this helps

I wouldnt give the dog anything he can swallow that he shouldnt when you are away. any kind of bone that is safe to swallow chunks or kong with peanut butter are great ideas and definitely crate him!
