I have the large red 10" Jolly Ball and it is holding up very well but I have seen other older ones at the Doggy daycare and the handles are chewed off. I also use the XX lg extreme black kong.
I know it's not a 'toy' but have you considered the large crown knuckle bones. I have seen Heidi go at them for hours and hardly put a scratch on it. I do replace them often tho, just because.....well, she slobbers it to death...haha
We 1/2 fill Milk jugs with water too....she has a blast with it.
Makes her own sprinkler and then throws it up in the air.
