I have been in love with Pomeranians since I was 3 years old and went to my uncles house where he had 7 of the lovelies. I wanted one before pocket pets became the glam and hip thing to have. I always wanted either a creme of black and told myself that I wouldnt get a puppy til I found the perfect one.
Well when i found a little mini schnauzer named Violet I broke that vow and regret it every day. She was poorly bred but I was too novice to know the difference until she went into convulsions one day just a few days after I brought her home. I had to put her to sleep and was snubbed by her breeder who said she was a cull and he would not refund my money.
Enter miss Scarlette. I found an add on puppyfind.com for a white pom male named Skylar, but when I called the breeder he was already sold to his forever home, BUT another bitch she had wa due in 2 weeks and she usually had at least 1 cream or white and one black with a few red and sable as well. I didnt get my hopes up but told her to call me when she whelped. I got the call a few days later on the 2nd of August and she kinda toyed with me because I told her how much I wanted the cream or white. So she told me of the 2 sable twins. The large black male. The red runt. And then FINALLY the CREME!!! female. She said I could come see her in 2 weeks and If I liked what I saw I could put a deposit on her, with limited to no breeding rights and a spay contract depending if she grew to show or pet quality. I plan to spay her of course, I am not a professional and I do not want to add to a pet over population.
The breeder called me a week later to tell me that the puppys had a resp infection, that they were in a ventilator and on breathing treatments 2x a day. Thank goodness Scarlette came out of it just fine less than a week later followed by all of the other puppies with only the runt having any trouble.
I went to see her at the 2 week point and she is PERFECT! She looks like a little polar bear and has an attitude already lol. So I put her deposit on her and now am waiting for the 6 week point to go pick my new baby up! I will post pictures as soon as I go see her again as I am also going to help market her siblings for the breeder.
