Thanks for all the great compliments everyone!

We arrived home late last night. We had a blast at my parents house, unfortunately I didn't get to bring my agility equipment home because we had NO ROOM in the little car we rented.. lol. My Dad will be bringing it up at another time.

I got a million photo's and will share once they are all uploaded and I have the patience.. lol.

Anyways, I did get a nice stack out of Stark. Someone on another forum took out the background (trees and another dog.. lol) for me. I think it looks amazing and I can't wait to frame this.

I am just so impressed with this little guy, I can't belive he is almost 10 months old and looks like this, does all he does... honestly, so impressed with my baby boy!

His free stack looks really nice, I think it's just going to take some work, both for you and for him getting used to it. Your first attempt wasn't bad. What I would suggest would be to look at pictures of show shepherds and do your best to copy. Good luck!

stacking your GSD

Hi , This is actually fun once you get the hang of it . When I first started , this is what the instructer said ...place a towel flat on the floor . This is the place you will stack your dog . In time , your dog will recognise these steps. Place the dog standing on the towel directly in front of you with the head facing to your right . The front legs should be directly under him . Next , the back outside leg will be extended . The bottom of the hawk should be straight up & down . The back inside leg , called the getty-up foot , will be placed where the toes are lined up with the shin . It is a good idea to start with the front right foot , followed by front left foot , followed by back left foot , followed by the back right foot . You will see if you count 1,2,3,4 ..your dog will soon get the hang of this & learn to go into the "stand on his/her own . Be persistant ! Always tell the dog what you want them to do . And remember , lots of praise when they do the right thing & stop when you or the dog loose patience !! Stand , 1, stand , 2 , stand , 3 , stand 4, ..Good stand !! Stay-stand .. YEA !! GOOD DOG !! Good luck & have fun !!
