The more I see people with dogs that tug on their leashes, the more disappointed I get. ha. It's actually not that difficult to retrain a dog to walk properly.
I'm lucky, though, in that I'm starting with a clean slate. She walks pretty darn well. She's not perfect, but I think it's really awesome to look down when she starts pulling ahead of me by only a few inches only to see her turn her head, see what's happening, and slow down beside me.
She's a good dog.
