Just adopted Zephyr last week from a wonderful pet rescue in Los Angeles and wanted to share some pictures. He is currently lying on my lap, blocking the keyboard, making things difficult
He's a real sweetheart though. They think he's a long haired dachshund/spaniel mix, 3 years old.
Still feeling a little overwhelmed with this big commitment, but that's probably normal. Our family dog passed away about a year and a half ago. Zephyr is the first dog who is completely mine. I really missed having a dog, and I've always been an animal person. I'm glad I took the plunge, overwhelming as it may be.
