I'm new here, was going to post in the Intro forum but figured since I wanted to add pics to put it here, hope that's right! Can't believe how much this forum has opened my eyes, wish I had found it when I first got Cinnamon. So on the the pics!

My first dog Cinnamon, we got her from the shelter when she was 6 months old, horribly underweight. She had been put up for adoption because "she was a digger", and I'm so happy I found her. Her papers say she is pit bull/X, what the cross is I have no idea, so it'd be great if someone else can figure it out lol! She's had some health problems, and weight problems, but her weight is slowly coming down. She'll be 8 this June.

And my new puppy, got her a month ago, she's 3.5 months old now, Pepper!. Mother was a husky and father was a blue heeler. She was the runt and her left eyelid never opened all the way, so she is blind in that eye. Other than that the vet says she looks good. She's growing so fast! Can't believe the size difference in the last month. She is VERY timid with strangers, extremely intelligent, and was peeing everytime she got happy/scared/someone talked in a loud voice, although she's almost over that. Thanks in big part to this forum, she is training well and getting a lot of confidence.

Cinnamon has me stumped! Very pitt cross but there's something there and I have no idea! Her feet look petite in that picture-are they small? And her bone structure looks fine=-so I'm thinking something in the 'bully' classification that's more petite. The fur is so short so something with short fur...but I'm at a loss! She's darn cute though

Thanks for all the comments, I think they're both beautiful but I'm biased of course. And I don't have a picture of Pepper's mom, I only saw a pic of her once and she looked a lot like http://www.pets4you.com/pages/images/rothert1_2005.jpg

Cinnamon's fur is very very short, and she doesn't have a lot of it, except on the back of her neck, there's a whole bunch there lol. Her feet ARE small, I know it sounds weird but she seems to have a petite bone structure, well, except for her head and chest. If it helps out any her tail is very weird, it's very fat and thick and round for about 3 inches out, then gets very thin and whiplike the rest of the way.

Wonder if she has a little bit of greyhound or whippet or lurcher in her? Not alot with that face but it woudl give the petite structure...

You could be onto something since we live in Tucson, AZ, and there is a lot of greyhound racing here. And she sure loves to run, gets running insanely fast with her butt way down, we call it her "rabbit run" cause she reminds us of a rabbit. Although I looked up greyhound racing and it doesn't look like they run that way lol.

I could be wrong, but she sort of looks like an AmStaff to me, mainly because of the square shape of her head.
My Stafford's tail is exactly like you described - I don't know what APBT's tails are like though so it might be with all bullies.

Whatever she is she's beautiful and Pepper's such a cutie - I love her specked nose
