To old to train in Agility?

I have two 8 years old aussie mixes, I've decided to try and train them in agility. They already know how to jump and weave a little. but are they to old to start agility competitively? They seem to love to learn how to do what I ask of them and they remember it very well and I do know I have a lot more to teach them. The reason I thought of this is because they are both very quick and agile dogs.

Age should not be an issue as long as they are physically capable of doing the tasks.

I say go for it.

I would have your vet check them over first, just to make sure there isn't anything such as arthritis that would be aggrevated by agility.

Of course, both are very fit and show no signs at all of having arthritis or anyother disability.
