Lola Training

This is Lola. This video is from quite a while ago and I'd like to think I've come on quite a bit as a handler but I;ll show you all it anyway .

She does know what she's meant to do, but I make mistakes and she takes advantage of them lol.

hahah...she certainly does!

Its amazing how easy it is to teach the obstacles and how hard it is to learn the handling!!

Oh I know lol. Well I have two fantastic trainers who have done most of the teaching with Lola and Polo. I'm trying to do Charlie with as little help as possible though

YouTube - Lola Can't Be Bothered with Agility

There's another one of her. She was just in a funny(er) mood that day lol. Normally she loves the whole idea of 'work' - playing just doesn't appeal to her!

And sorry it's sideways I'm not so good at this computer stuff

I see you use no reward markers (NRM) alot...is there a reason?

Sideways worked out fine...I can adjust lol.

An NRM is a word used to let them know they didn't do what they were supposed to and to try again

Great videos (the second one is sideways for me-a little hard to see) but the other one came through good. Very cute dog-she looks like she loves agility-and keeping you on your toes

all the "eh eh" "aaaahts!" and "nos!" you are using...

I have never seen NRM used in agility training before.

Why not just teach a whiplash turn? (stop and look at you when you say her name, if she goes for the wrong obstacle) I think she would be less confused that way.

That works with the other two, but that can't be depended on with Lola. I was probably just getting cross that day lol. Normally we do a little short combination of jumps, then turn and pet. She isn't at all food orientated so she is difficult to work with reward-wise.
