Dog go underground into tunnels after prey (which is caged) Usually a dacshund or terrier sport...In fact I think your dog has to be PB to participate.
In the UK a earth dog is a terrier that goes underground to prey, either to flush them out or they do go down there and kill them, the main dogs that are earth dogs here are working terriers like patterdales or border terriers
