What a lucky puppy! And I'm glad he had a happy ending!

Very cool, there is a lot of death around railroad tracks.

This video is a reinactment of a hero Conductor saving two toddlers from the tracks.

Awe, I love happy endings when dogs are involved. What a pretty pup too. I was touched by the guy who saved him and went out of his way to find a home for the little guy. That is a true dog lover right there. (He could have brought it to the pound and let them handle it.)

That's exactly how I felt the three times I almost killed people while I was still an Engineer. One actually stood in the middle of the tracks, threw his arms in the air, and I made eye contact just before I lost him under the hood of the train. He jumped at the last minute, so He was fine minus a few choice words my conductor was throwing at him. We figured it was either a stunt or attempted suicide. There is not a more helpless feeling than that situation with full brakes applied and are not stopping fast enough.

Since my time as an engineer, I have a higher value of life, and a lower opinion of stupidity. I still cringe when I am at a railroad crossing and see someone on the tracks with kids or passengers in the cars. When it is only the driver, they are just idiots that I don't feel sorry for.

Sorry, had a flash back for some reason when I read that post.
