Pit Bull Shot In The Head Trying To Protect Owner, But Miraculously Survives CBS New York

The dog in the story protected his owners against a home invader and, in the process, took a bullet to the head that ricocheted off. He's now OK and walking around.

Gotta love stories like these : ) Though I wish the dog hadn't got shot at all, it's miraculous and his loyalty warms your heart.

What i'm not liking: why is there a link to a completely unrelated Pitbull incident within the article?

Thanks goodness pitpull have real hard heads! I know My daughter had a pitbull mix and she bumped me in my head by mistake and that dog had head like a brick wall!
A friend had a Germain Shepherd/ Collie mix dog. And one night a robber tried to break in the house through a window. The dog did not bark or growl , he just laid very quiet and waited for the guy to made a move! When the guy got one leg in the window the dog made his move and bite the guy in the leg! When my friend and her husband when downstairs in the morning they found a piece of bloody paints leg on the floor! My friend never heard her dog barking , she kept the bedroom door open a little to hear her kids. I loved that dog, he was smart as hell, and smarter than the guy he bit!!
