I love that...shows how amazing animals are. It really breaks my heart that nobody stops, it looked like more than one car hit it? Or almost at least. I have been held up in traffic bc a dog was running in the road. Anywho that gives me goosebumps.

i know right! oh man, it was truly amazing!

in defense of the drivers it was a weird stretch of road, there didn't appear to be any sort of shoulder or anything, but yeah... someone must have stopped eventually, if they know that the hurt dog made it! completely amazing tho...

It said construction workers stopped. I just couldn't go full speed down the road seeing a dog in it ya know? I am very aware of animals while driving more so than most I am sure.

not to burst any bubbles here, but the dog is likely trying to drag its meal out of traffic to eat it in peace.

LOL Do you think the construction workers had an issue getting the dog away from the other
because of that but didnt want to share that part of the story? I dunno, I would think the dog would have grabbed it more viciously to move it?

Oh and yes they said the doggy did survive

if I have learned anything from wild animals and feeding, its that they don't waste extra energy on prey that doesn't fight back, since the dog was limp, I see no reason for the other dog to be violent with it...

IIRC this was in chile? These were feral dogs and it was likely very spooked by the workers aproaching him, so it ran off.

last time som'one posted this on another forum, som' one even posted an article that talks about dogs/wolves moving large prey that way (with the arms)
