It would be legal where I am as long as you have an licence from fish and game to keep 'wild' animals. (that's what they would be considered here. Even if they are 'tame') If someone from here buys one illegally and gets reported, they will take the 'tame fox' away and evaluate to see if it is able to be returned to the wild. If not, to the zoo. But very cute non the less. Those claws are scary. looks like cat claws.

But what's to stop people from having them shipped to USA and keeping them illegially. Just like they do pet tigers, and bears, and lions and chimps and so on. I think it's really sad to take a 'fox' and tame them into being 'pets.'

As someone once mentioned in my post, we don't need any more dogs. Let's focus on the ones we have here!

OHH Gotcha....Dave and his friend think they will import them and set up a breeding program. I may just keep this information secret from them. The idiots would get it started and then bugger off to overhaul an engine...and I'd be stuck cleaning up all that fox poop.
