okay, just cus I am bored, here is another good dog story. (true story)

A 15 yr old boy came home after a long day and is tired and hungry, but his hunger wins out so he starts up some oil in a pan so he can make some onion rings. He then goes to sit on the couch until he hears the oil start to make the "pop pop'' boiling sound. Next think he knows the family's Dalmatian Spuds is biting his hand, he is surprised at first because Spuds has never bitten anyone and hasn't shown any aggressive tendencies but suddenly he realizes that he had fallen asleep and that he smells smoke. The pan has caught fire and the fire is catching on cabinets. he runs into the kitchen and turns off the stove then calls 911 then runs out of the house. The dog Spuds is still in the house though, but he didn't run out the door cus he sees the family's kitten Gizmo run into the kitchen cause he was fascinated by the flames (curiousity killed..erm, you know..) and he runs after the kitten. He grabs the kitten by the scruff and runs out of the house. When the fire department arrives they see that the boys action of turning off the stove before leaving had fizzled out the fire, and if the dog hadn't bitten him he would've slept on and suffocated and died. The fire fighter mentioned it was the 1st time he has seen a dalmatian- the symbol for firehouses- actually involved in a fire rescue like this. The dog received and award for his bravery and a spokesperson for the award's organization had to comment that they have given awards for dog's saving people, but this case was truly special because they had never had a dog save another animal's life like Spuds saved Gizmo's.

I thought that was a cute story
