its about damn time this happened on a large scale. I've been saying theres alot here, but seeing the actual numbers really hurts.

It just breaks ones heart.

Sometimes the movie industry does so much harm, people thinking I just "gotta have it" but dont think it through.

I wish I had a fenced in yard at this house, I would start fostering again. Stories like this break my heart.

I could tell you it'd be a cold day in heck if a chi ever ended up in the shelter here-just doesn't happen. Our HS comes and gets some California chi's and small dogs a few times a year now. I know off the top of my head a handful of people who would just die to have those chi's or little dogs. Here-smallest dog in a shelter would be a bc mix ! We had to go five hours to get a small dog (Mikey) ourselves.

Seriously though-wonderful wonderful program.

Perhaps we could trade and send all the big dogs we have

im not a fan of that breed but seeing that so many are in trouble makes me sad, every animal has the right to live
