We loved our Sadie Girl......

We had to say goodbye to our 13 1/2 year old black Lab, Sadie, back in April. I never thought I had that many tears in me. Our hearts broke to lose her. My biggest worry that was whether or not she knew how much we loved her.

She was the first dog I ever owned....and she was awesome!!!!! We even had her in our wedding.

We've since adopted a dog, Stella, and Sadie's got a page on Stella's blog, and a facebook page. I never get tired of looking at her photos.....

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, stelleasmama. Sadie was a beautiful dog. Her pictures remind me very much of the black lab I grew up with, as a matter of fact. I read that you had her since she was a puppy. It sounds to me like she had a long, fulfilling life surrounded by people who loved her. What more could a dog ask for?

PS: I see she also did her fair share of modeling funny hats.

She did have a long happy life!!!! We were lucky to have her for as long as we did!!!

My biggest worry after we lost her was that I hope she knew how much we loved her!!!!

Thank you! She was my first dog....and my husband's as well. She was my dog....when Rob and I met he didn't seem to interested, but she won him over with her wily Lab ways.

It broke both of our hearts to say goodbye to her......we were very lucky to have had her for as long as we did!!!

She knew how much you loved her. Dogs are good at sensing that kind of thing I think she was very lucky to have you.
