My Best friend Navarre
The day that I lost my best friend,
my world as I knew it came to an end.
I held him in my arms as his life slipped away,
If only i could relive that day.
Nobody knows what Navarre meant to me ,
If I had him back I would do things differently.
He was my best friend in bad times and good,
Independant enough to not always behave as he should.
I called him mama's big black teddy bear,
with big brown eyes and shiny black hair.
Gentle and kind loving and sweet,
As long as you didn't bother his feet.
I pray God will let him run over the Heavens above,
And swim in all the waters of Love.
When the day comes that we meet again,
I'll wrap my arms around Navarre my Best friend.
We will all live together throughout Eternity,
Happy in paradise, Navarre, Copper,and me.
