Sudden moles?

My new dog has suddenly developed five mole-type bumps around his groin area. They are brown, slightly raised, and a little red around the edges. I don't remember noticing them before a couple days ago. He does seem to be chewing in that area, although he was doing that before, and I thought it was irritation from his neuter surgery.

I'm something of a hypochondriac when it comes to my own health, so I don't want to overreact to my dog if what's going on is normal. I've already had a few health freak outs with him (I thought he was having a seizure when it turns out he was just sleeping with his eyes open, which I had never seen a dog do before. Then he had some filmy stuff on one of his eyes but it cleared up an hour later). Is this something I should see a vet about?

i definitely think it is vet time...

i had to lol a bit about the sleeping with the eyes open (sorry ) but this sounds like some sort of reaction... it may be nothing, but imo, better safe then sorry, i personally would rather feel a little silly for taking my dog to the vet then feel the awfulness of not doing so...

anyhow, as i said this sounds like vet time to me...
