Shiba Inu Lump on Belly?

I have a Shiba Inu, Roxie, that is a year and 3 months old. She has not been fixed.
I noticed today that there was a lump on her stomach and I don't know what it is! It is a hard lump and I never noticed anything before this. I don't know if it is just swelling because she bit herself in a bad spot, mammary inflammation, cancer, or what!? So any help would be appreciated. This is only the first day I have seen it and I was going to wait a few days before I go to the vet.
Also, she tolerates pain very well. She fractured her iliac crest, took her to the vet, and they thought nothing was wrong with her. So keep that in mind as well, that if it bothers her and causes her pain, she won't show it like most dogs.

Your dog is in heat. Keep her away from the boys.

The first picture is her swollen vulva, the others are her engorged mammary glands.

Spaying her will prevent her from going through this in the future.

Yeah sorry about the vulva Pic. that one was a miss shot of the lump because she moved. But it is only one mammary gland that is swollen and she is not licking her vulva or bleeding or peeing excessively. And last time she was in heat she didn't have a lump like that on her belly...
So hope that gives you more info to be for sure about it. Thanks for getting back so quick.

With a vulva like that, she's got to be in heat. I can't think of anything else that would cause it to swell so much.

Is there any discharge from the one mammary gland? Based on the pics, a bunch look engorged. It's entirely possible she has mastitis (infection in her gland), which could be treated with antibiotics +/- spaying (that tends to help).

I'd guess in the next few days the other mammary glands will resemble this one. The longer it goes on, the more hormones that are circulating (and probably why you didn't see this the first time).

I honestly think your dog is just in heat (and maybe has a mild mammary infection, but I'm not convinced.)

The Vulva is NOT swollen. The only thing swollen is the mammary gland. Her vagina ALWAYS looks like that. It sticks out, a lot. But that is normal so don't focus on that. I simply took a bad picture and posted it. The best pics are pics 3 & 4.
***Only reason I took a picture from the back end was to try and show how much the lump sticks out as opposed to the stomach pics (3 & 4) that it's hard to tell because of how her stomach is.
So Only ONE MAMMARY GLAND is swollen, the other side is normal as is the vulva. It is about 3.5 inches long and 1 inch wide....it is a cylindrical lump, hard, and it is red around it and irritated almost like she has been biting it.

Put it this way, she is a female dog that looks like she has a penis on her stomach, under the skin, because of the lump lol. I've looked it up and it looks much like a tumor and not really like a hernia. But like i said it's the first day I've ever noticed anything like that and I pet her belly each day and I don't know anything about lumps.

And there is no discharge or puss or anything coming from it. There are no open sores and it is coming from the last two nipples near the butt. And no others are swollen as of yet.

I also had a flea problem since I moved into my new house and that could also be why the vulva seems to stick out more than normal because of the hair loss there. But i can assure, the vulva is normal size.

You don't like my assessment of what I am seeing, so please take her to the vet so someone can get a hands-on look at it. From what I'm seeing, I've told you my opinion. Maybe it looks different in person, but from the pics this is a classic dog in heat.

Good Luck.

Look I want help with this issue or else I wouldn't have posted online about it. All I am saying is that you're assessing the vulva, but there is nothing wrong with the vulva. She went through heat before and didn't have swollen glands at all, her vulva was swollen and she licked in a lot and she bled...but none of that is going on now. It is just a lump on her stomach. You might be right about it being an infection, but I don't know and you didn't say much else about that part when I gave you more info on her.

I suggest u go to the vet. Dont wait. My dog has changes in his bhvr and gait, because we r all too busy preparing for my bro wedding we did not bother too much bout it. Turns out he my dog had cancer, and a pretty bad one.
Measures:
1.Had yr dog blood tested for cancer(or any disease)
2.Gv him good diet(super important)-google it
3.Gv him healing herbs-google it
4.Monitor his progress
