Pulled Muscle?

Stetson's gait is normally kind of "rompy" (it may just be his breeding or he may have had an earlier injury before I adopted him), but yesterday I noticed that he looked to be actually "off". He kind of limps on his front right at one particular gait. The weird thing is is that it doesn't seem to bother him. He has been running, jumping, and playing with no problem whatsoever. I even palpated his leg and shoulder area a couple of times - and he really didn't react.

Could it be he just pulled a muscle? The last time he pulled a muscle was in his neck - he had an x-ray done and was prescribed a pain reliever. I don't think Stetson needs to go to the vet in this case if it's just another pulled muscle? Especially if he's not expressing any pain?

In the mean time I'll just keep an eye on it. Suggestions/tips/advice anyone?

I am always such a worrywart and I don't want to blow things out of proportion if it's really not that serious.

Hugs to you and Stetson Farmy, and a big puppy bite and tail wag from the pup, I'm sure it's just an "Ouwie" if he's not paying much attention to it, I remember you live in a temperate climate like me, so it wouldn't hurt to give a good hand inspection around the wounded leg looking for "Speargrass" (local name for basically a type of grass, I think another Yank (no offense) called it Foxtail) or any other punctures, but an abscess will appear fairly quick so without that, chances are a "turned ankle" or twisted whatever, just keeping an eye on it is probably all that it needs. And being a worrywort, especially since you are a true animal person is ridiculous, you are just observant, "Bravo"
