Lucys stomach is making noises

This morning when I woke up I noticed my dog Lucys stomach was making funny noises. Gurgling and squealing. She just doesn't look well. She usually drinks a lot of water but I haven't seen her drink any water today. I gave her a treat and she ate that. But so far she has shown no interest in anything. Could it be just an upset stomach or something I should be worrying about and thinking of the vet?

Noises like this do spell a troubled gut.
Could be anything from relatively harmless caused by something she ate, do something very serious or even an emergency such as a blockage or bloat.

I would watch her carefully for signs of being in pain.

Has she pooped at all? If so, that would be reassuring.

A call to your vet might be a good idea.

Could be just an empty stomach. Sometimes when the stomach is empty the gasses build up in the stomach. Dont be surprised if she throws up a yellow bile or eats grass if given the chance. If you can get something in the stomach it will more than likely stop. If it persists I would check in with the vet.

hmm I will watch her. She just has been laying there. She hasn't been drinking ANY water, which is very strange for her. She usually wolfs down water. She hasn't eaten. I haven't heard any noises from her stomach again but it's been a little noisy here. She hasn't thrown up and hasn't wanted to go outside. I'll try and see if she wants to go out now though.

I suspect you may have some diarrhea on the way. It is also possible that it's just an empty stomach. I'd boil her up some chicken and rice and see if she'll eat that.

She finally ate and drank some water. I took her outside for a little bit but she wasn't interested in much. She just smelled around a little bit. Maybe getting some fresh air made her get an appetite? Well hopefully she feels better soon.
