A couple days ago I went out to the grocery stores searching for canned pumpkin and couldn't find it anywhere. Come to find out there was a shortage on canned pumpkin and it's pretty much impossible to find at any store right now. Luckily my mom had a couple extra cans that she bought last year. Yesterday I went over to pick one up and fed it to Jayda with her chicken and rice. After 4 days Jayda finally went POO! I don't know what I would have done if I didn't find any pumpkin. The chicken and rice didn't seem to be doing it, but about an hour or two after eating the pumpkin she was running outside to do her thing. She seems to be doing okay. Although she's back to peeing constantly again. I never did the UTI test because she seemed to be doing better and she is a puppy which they do pee often. She's is going back to the vet next thursday to get the rest of her shots and I will be taking in a urine sample then just to check.
Poor girl is just a puppy and I haven't gotten the chance to socialize her around other dogs, because she has been sick. First she had kennel cough, also she didn't have all her shots so I couldn't go to the dog park, my mom's dog had pink eye so I couldn't take her over there, and now she has mange and shouldn't really be around other dogs. She is great around humans but I hope she doesn't become dog aggressive due to the fact she hasn't been socialized to any dogs yet besides Oliver
