Talking How big will he get?

Hey guys, i'm a new user so i should start off by introducing Cerberus (sir-ber-rus). Hes an American Staffordshire Terrier and hes 7 mos almost 8. And at that age hes already 60 lbs. I was just curious as to how large you all will think he'll be at his size and age. Ive done all the research about this breed and hes already past the full grown size of an average AmStaff. Thanks for your help!

What was the weight/height of his parents?

Usually that is a good indicator. If he is registered you can also look up his family history on the database.

It's going to be a "wait and see" game then if you do not have any family history.

Do you have contact with the breeder or any littermates? This way you could compare the size of your puppy with the others.

Typically large breed dogs stop maturing around 2 years of age. Some breeds and more specifically some lines (such as DDR lines in GSD's) mature slower than others.
