How is he now? If he is still having trouble I would DEFINITELY take him to the vet.

I have to say this is E-vet time. Breathing is kind of important

If your vet is closed-sometimes they have an 'off hours' phone number posted on their website, and OFTEN on their door.

How is your dog doing now? Is it possible he has something lodged in his throat? How does the tongue look (color, lubrication?) and how does his eyes look (look at the whites specifically)?

What noise is he making exactly?

Hi,

He is still doing it but not all the time. His tongue is his normal colour. His eys look fine, its like he has a weezy cough but its not a cough exactly its like he is gasping for breath but not sure

Hmmm I thought so . Because your description at first-I'm like-your dog is NOT OK!! But obviously if he's still breathing etc, it's probably different then I interpreted.
I got from your post that it was total trouble breathing-like an obstruction or anaphylaxis BUT Now that you update sounds like a cough. Maybe allergies, bordatello (kennel cough) flu...

I think you could wait until Monday MAYBE -I mean keep a BIG eye on your pup but you could maybe wait until normal vet hours. I would NOT just leave it though-defo needs a vet hands down.

Keep us posted please!!

I agree with Mikey. But wanted to add that you shouldn't leave him alone until a vet has seen him. If something happens and he can't catch his breath he may pass out or worse. So stay with him until the vet sees him.
