I agree with Crio,

I think most fish food is just processed crude proteins and fats with flavors added. I utilize Macaw hand feeding formula mixed with either fresh meat or canned dog food/cat food when working with a dog or cat that needs fast weight gain, or is sick and will not eat at all. Macaw hand feeding formula is also crude protein/fat. Therefore, the fish food probably will not hurt your dog. Might make him/her plump up quickly though if you can afford to go through that much fish food.

Nice one AJ. My dog has eaten pellets, no drastic effects. Might want to reconsider giving it to you bichir though.
