Does he look fat to you??

When I first got Marti he was very much overweight but now at 78 pounds I thought he was back down to the weight he is supposed to be at because he doesn't at all look overweight to me anymore. I walk him everyday and we've cut back on his diet..However, when I took him to the trainer he straight up called him "Fat" and that still kind of bugs me..

Is Marti still fat??

He doesnt look fat to me , just gorgeous

If you run your hand down his side can you feel his ribs , if so he is the ideal weight as my vet always says if you can feel the ribs but not see them thats perfect

he looks like he may be a little heavy. but its hard to tell with those angles. the best angle is right directly over the top of them. this way you can tell if theres any "waistline"

sorry, i think he is still a bit overweight... like GDM said tho, those are odd angles to tell from... directly over the top and a direct side view are better...

Yes, he looks overweight to me as well.
Maybe with his new food and some added playtime/walks
you can get him back to a healthier weight.

Btw, Zukes makes some tiny treats that are only about 2 calories each and my dogs will do anything for them, especially the salmon and the peanut butter flavors
